The Center for Fiction gives out four awards annually. We honor early-career fiction writers through our First Novel Prize and Emerging Writer Fellowships, and distinguished editors and agents in the field with our Medal for Editorial Excellence. Our On Screen Award pays tribute to groundbreaking creations in film and television informed by great fiction. Additionally, our Lifetime of Excellence in Fiction Award honors writers who, through their exceptional bodies of work, have significantly shaped our culture and perspective.
