The Center for Fiction Open House

Curious about becoming a member of The Center for Fiction? Join us for our first Open House on Independent Bookstore Day! Our second-floor member spaces will be open to the public so come check out the Members Lounge, Reading Room, Terrace, Library collection, and Writers Studio, and learn more about membership. Group tours will be offered every half hour from 12:30-4:30pm ET and light refreshments will be provided.

Individual Memberships will have a special price of $150, and $100 for students and seniors! As an added bonus, anyone who signs up for membership at the Open House will also receive a 25% discount for one purchase at the Bookstore!

*Proof of vaccination is required to visit our second-floor member spaces. Mask wearing is also required throughout the building. Accepted vaccination proofs include:

• CDC vaccination card (or an image of it)
• Excelsior Pass or Excelsior Pass Plus (or a printout of it)
• A record of vaccination from the healthcare provider who administered your vaccine

Anyone 5 and older is required to show proof of two vaccine doses or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Anyone 18 and older must also present a government issued photo ID.
