Members Floor & Library Hours

Monday: 11am to 8pm
Tuesday–Sunday: 11am to 6pm

During the hours when the Library is closed, hold requests will be available for pickup every day from the designated book cart in the Bookstore (open daily from 11am to 8pm).

Note: Construction will be held on a neighboring building, affecting access to the Terrace. The small section of the Terrace furthest from the door will be closed to members as a safety precaution. This construction will also, unfortunately, result in periods of noise over the next few months. We will assess how this affects the noise levels of the member floor and what steps we can take to mitigate the impact.

Friday, June 5th
Our June First Novel Friday welcomes authors Cassandra Neyenesch (A Little Bit Bad), Morgan Thomas (Mad Eden), and Sarah Wang (New Skin). Vanessa Chan, author of The Storm We Made, will moderate. RSVP here!
Monday, June 8th
The Nightlighters, our in-person reading group, will meet in the Sula Peace (with green chairs) meeting room at 6pm. This month, we are reading Taiwan Travelogue by Yáng Shuāng-zǐ. RSVP here!
Thursday, June 11th
The Sula Peace (with green chair) meeting room will be reserved from 1:30-3:30pm for the Writers Studio’s monthly afternoon tea.
Monday, June 15th
The Aureliano Buendia (Orange Chair) Meeting Room will open at 12pm.
Tuesday, June 16th
The Members Lounge will close at 4pm to set up for a Writers Studio event.
Wednesday, June 17th
The Literarians will meet at 12:30 pm on Zoom to discuss this month’s book selection, The True True Story of Raja the Gullible (and His Mother) by Rabih Alameddine. RSVP here!

The Center for Fiction (full building) will be closed in observance of Juneteenth.

The Members Lounge will be reserved from 9am – 12:30pm for an event hosted by The Center.
