This group will read and discuss three contemporary novels by Asian diasporic writers. Their New York City-based stories—ranging from satirical and psychological to realistic fiction—explore women’s lives, immigrant experiences, and themes of identity and culture.
What to read in advance of the first meeting: The Farm by Joanne Ramos
What to expect from this reading group: This reading group will be conversational and participant-driven with the group leader facilitating the discussion.
