Two Sessions

Out of stock

Saturday & Sunday 2:00 pm EDT - 4:00 pm EDT July 25 to July 26, 2020

This workshop has reached its capacity.

This two-day workshop will focus on voice, and how voice can drive a story, at times even define it. We will discuss different types of voice, the authorial voice as well as the voice of the characters. Each session, the instructor will provide readings from contemporary writers and facilitate discussion. Students will be given an assignment to generate a piece of writing in between sessions, and will leave this course with a stronger sense of voice, style and personal narrative.

This course will take place online via Zoom. Participants will receive instructions for access prior to the start of class.
