Noir is not a product solely of the United States. All the world has nihilistic tales of doomed protagonists. In this reading group, we’ll travel to the cynical side of France, Japan, Argentina, and Nigeria, and explore how authors in those countries put their own spin on noir.
- Session I: Too Close to the Edge by Pascal Garnier
- Session II: The Thief by Fuminori Nakamura
- Session III: All Yours by Claudia Piñeiro
- Session IV: Lagos Noir, edited by Chris Abani
