Another deep dive into the novels of Charles Dickens, this group will cover The Pickwick Papers, Bleak House, and David Copperfield. From the observations of the flâneur and the machinations of con artists, to child labor and spontaneous combustion, we will do a deep dive into Victorian England and some of Dickens’s most famous works.
Participants should read Volume I (or chapters 1-27) of The Pickwick Papers in advance of the first meeting.
