2nd Annual Halloween Costume Contest
Costumed revelers of all ages are invited to submit to our 2nd Annual Halloween Costume Contest! Visit our bookstore at 15 Lafayette Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn, or by tagging @center4fiction on Instagram and Twitter wearing your most frightening, dreamiest or literary costumes (P.S. did we mention we love it when you dress up your furry friends or even your iguana?).
Submissions are accepted through the stroke of midnight on Halloween. Winners will be announced November 1st.
Categories & Prizes
In-store contestants will have their photo taken by a bookseller and are eligible to win a gift card to the bookstore at The Center for Fiction. Two $50 gift cards will be awarded, one for contestants aged 12 and under, and another for contestants aged 13 and above. All in-store contestants win candy so drop by!
There will be one prize for online entries. Contestants are eligible to win either a personal virtual shopping experience worth up to $50 with one of our brilliant booksellers OR free admittance for your favorite middle-grader to our online KidsReading Club on Saturday, November 14th at 11am including a free copy of The Witch Boy.
We can’t wait to see all the ghosts, pumpkins, devils, and Henry James costumes you come up with (also dogs in wigs).
