Celebrate the release of Susan Richards Shreve's More News Tomorrow with a panel discussion of women authors writing historical fiction. Mary Morris and Christina Baker Kline to join. Susan Richards Shreve is the author of 15 previous novels, a memoir, and thirty books for children.

 

Mary Morris is the author of numerous works of fiction, including the novels Gateway to the Moon, The Jazz Palace, winner of the Anisfield-Wolf Book Award; A Mother’s Love; and House Arrest; and nonfiction, including the travel memoir classic Nothing to Declare: Memoirs of a Woman Traveling Alone.

Christina Baker Kline is the author of six novels, including New York Times bestsellers Orphan Train and A Piece of the World.


Susan Richards Shreve is the author of fifteen novels, a memoir, and thirty books for children. She has received a Guggenheim Fellowship and a National Endowment grant, among other honors. A professor of creative writing at George Mason University and former chairman of the PEN/Faulkner Foundation, Shreve lives in Washington, D.C.
Mary Morris by Zoe Fisher Mary Morris is the author of numerous works of fiction, including, most recently, Gateway to the MoonThe Jazz PalaceA Mother’s Love, and House Arrest, and of nonfiction, including the travel memoir classic Nothing to Declare: Memoirs of a Woman Traveling Alone. She is a recipient of the Rome Prize in literature and the 2016 Anisfield-Wolf Award for fiction. Morris lives in Brooklyn, New York.
Christina Baker Kline Christina Baker Kline is the author of seven novels. Her 2017 novel A Piece of the World explores the real-life relationship between the artist Andrew Wyeth and the subject of his best-known painting, Christina’s World. An instant New York Times bestseller, A Piece of the World was awarded the 2018 New England Prize for Fiction and the Maine Literary Award, among other prizes.
