    Monique Truong is the author of three novels—The Book of Salt; Bitter in the Mouth; and now, The Sweetest Fruits, and her work has been published in fifteen countries. Her awards and honors include the PEN/Robert Bingham Fellowship, the New York Public Library Young Lions Award, the Asian American Literary Award, and the American Academy of Arts and Letters Rosenthal Family Foundation Award.

    Mayukh Sen is a food writer based in New York. He has won both James Beard and IACP Awards for his writing, and his work has been anthologized in The Best American Food Writing 2019. His writing has appeared in the New York Times, New Yorker web, the Washington Post, and elsewhere. He is currently working on his first book, to be published by W.W. Norton & Company, on the immigrant women who have shaped food culture in America.
