Our Reading Groups

Are you looking to catch up on some great novels you may have missed? Or perhaps you’re interested in exploring a new writer or literary period? Our Fall Reading Groups offer a wide variety of classic and contemporary fiction.

You could mark the two-hundredth anniversary of Jane Austen’s death by visiting (or revisiting) her most famous works. Looking for something longer? Sheila Kohler is ready to guide you through Tolstoy’s War & Peace and Harold Augenbraum will lead you on a deep dive into Balzac’s Human Comedy.

Searching for something more contemporary? We have offerings on fiction by Salman Rushdie. Or perhaps you’d like to take a thematic tour? You can select from courses on the Harlem Renaissance, Modernism, and the literature of Trieste.

Whatever you choose, our reading groups offer high-level literary discussion in an intimate, welcoming setting.
