Vignettes, an exhibition of 25 author portraits celebrating the vitality and diversity of the literary luminaries of our time, is the Center's inaugural exhibition in our new space.  


Prints of the exhibited work and of portraits published in Author are for sale, each 16”x24”, in an edition of ten, at $500 each. (Copies of Author: The Portraits of Beowulf Sheehan are also available for sale in The Center for Fiction Bookstore.)  


Proceeds from print sales will benefit The Center for Fiction’s KidsRead and KidsWrite programs. A child’s passion for books can inspire an adult’s success in life.

Beowulf Sheehan studied photography at New York University and the International Center of Photography. His childhood love of stories in books and music grew into an adulthood love of storytellers in the arts, entertainment, and humanities.


Beowulf makes portraits, communicates ideas, and shares the stories of compelling artists and figures who impact society and culture.
