The NEA presents The Big Read in partnership with Arts Midwest. Join us for this screening of the classic film The Magnificent Seven starring Steve McQueen and Yul Brynner. This screening is part of our Big Read of Into the Beautiful North by Luis Alberto Urrea. The novel takes direct inspiration from the film, as its main character, Nayeli, travels to find her own fighters to protect her small village in Mexico. And her aunt is obsessed with Yul Brynner!
