We celebrated the 20th Anniversary of NOON at a launch party and reading featuring Nathan Dragon, Vi Khi Nao (read by Diane Williams), Kathryn Scanlan, Christine Schutt, Souvankham Thammavongsa.

Founded in 2000 by Diane Williams, NOON is dedicated to supporting important literary and visual art.

Critically acclaimed in the US and abroad, The New York Times saluted NOON as: "A beautiful annual that remains staunchly avant-garde in its commitment to work that is oblique, enigmatic and impossible to ignore... Stories that leave a flashbulb's glow behind the eyes even as they resist sense."

NATHAN DRAGON is a frequent contributor to NOON. His fiction has also appeared in Fence, New York Tyrant, and 3:AM Magazine.

VI KHI NAO is the author of five books of poetry and fiction. Her stories, poems, and drawings have appeared in NOON, Ploughshares, Black Warrior Review, and BOMB, among others.

KATHRYN SCANLAN is the author of Aug 9—Fog, which will be published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux in June 2019. A collection of stories, The Dominant Animal, is forthcoming from FSG in 2020.

CHRISTINE SCHUTT's most recent book, a collection of stories, Pure Hollywood, came out in paperback from Grove Press in March 2019.

SOUVANKHAM THAMMAVONGSA's stories have been published in Harper's, Granta, The Paris Review, and Best American Nonrequired Reading. Her first story collection, How to Pronounce Knife, will be published by Little, Brown next year.
