Our Annual Awards Dinner and Benefit
The Center for Fiction's Annual Benefit and Awards Dinner celebrates excellence in the field of fiction. Please join us this year for a festive evening as we present the 2013 Flaherty-Dunnan First Novel Prize to the year's best debut novel and the Maxwell E. Perkins Award, honoring the work of an editor, publisher, or literary agent who over the course of his or her career has discovered, nurtured and championed writers of fiction in the United States. The event will be held at The Union League Club on December 11, 2013, beginning at 6:30pm.

ABOUT OUR AWARDS
We present four awards throughout the year to recognize excellence in fiction: The Flaherty-Dunnan First Novel Prize, The Clifton Fadiman Medal, The Maxwell E. Perkins Award, and The Roger Shattuck Prize for Criticism.
The Flaherty-Dunnan, and Perkins Award are presented at our Annual Benefit and Awards Dinner. The Shattuck Prize and Fadiman Medal are presented at special events.
